PayPal on your website

You can sell directly from your Websites Made! website using Buy Now buttons or a shopping cart form PayPal. First you need to sign up for a merchant account from PayPal. Click the banner below to do that now.

Sign up for PayPal and start accepting credit card payments instantly.

Once you have signed up and verified your PayPal account you can create Buy Now or Add to Cart buttons for your products. We will then add these buttons to your website for you.

An example of a Buy Now buttonYou can create customised payment buttons for your website by following these steps:

    1. Log in to your PayPal account at www.paypal.co.uk
    2. Click ‘Profile’
    3. Click ‘Create a new button’ in the ‘Selling Preferences’ column
    4. Select ‘Products’ or ‘Services’ from the drop-down menu
    5. Select ‘Buy Now’ or ‘Add to Cart button’
    6. Fill in all required fields
    7. Select Step 2 and Step 3 for additional features.
    8. Click ‘Create Button’
    9. Click ‘Select Code’ to select the button code
    10. Copy the HTML code for your button and send it to us at Websites Made!

An example of an Add to Cart buttonTo edit a button, for example to change the price, follow the steps below:

    1. Log in to your PayPal account at www.paypal.co.uk
    2. Click ‘Profile’
    3. Click ‘My saved buttons’ in the ‘Selling Preferences column
    4. Select ‘Edit button’ from the Action menu next to the button you want to edit
    5. Enter your edits, and then click ‘Re-create Button’
    6. Click ‘Select Code’ to select the button code
    7. Copy the HTML code for your button and send it to us at Websites Made!
